Project Overview

For this project, we utilized Centrifugally Cast Concrete Pipe (CCCP) technology to rehabilitate a 44” x 70” corrugated metal pipe (CMP) that had been undermined by a nearby stream. Instead of opting for a costly remove-and-replace approach, our team implemented SpinCasting, saving the city $85,000 while ensuring a durable, long-term solution. The rehabilitation process involved installing a new CCCP liner, stabilizing the void beneath the pipe, and pouring a new concrete apron to prevent future erosion. This trenchless repair method allowed for minimal disruption to the surrounding environment, reinforcing the pipe’s structural integrity while maintaining the existing cart path.
